Porta Romana is a historic neighborhood in Milan, named after the ancient city gate built in the 16th century as part of the Spanish fortifications. Metro: although it only has 4 lines, the Milan metro is the largest in Italy. Tickets can be purchased at the metro stops, at kiosks and tobacconists, although it is advisable to purchase a pass if you are going to use the metro regularly. The activity hours are from 06:00 to 00:30.

Bus: Milan has more than 80 day bus lines and 15 night bus lines. Night bus tickets can be purchased directly on the bus, while day bus tickets must be purchased in advance at metro stops, kiosks or tobacconists.

Tram: Milan has 18 tram lines through which trams numbered 1 to 33 pass. In the same way as with the metro, tickets can be purchased at the metro stops themselves, at kiosks and at tobacconists. The tram's operating hours are from 05:00 to 2:30.
