Lodgerin, led by CEO and founder Óscar Rubio Martín, emerges as a pioneer in the international mobility industry. Since its inception in 2011, inspired by his own struggles when looking for accommodation abroad, Óscar has led a series of innovative projects, from People Global Relocation to Housing Makers.
In 2022, with the need to consolidate all the learnings and experiences from previous projects, Lodgerin was born, which started as a marketplace for mid-stay rentals with more than 8,000 rental units.
At the end of 2023, the company closes a €400,000 round to continue its national and international expansion and improve the product, closing the year with more than 12,000 rental units.
This sum, coming from private investors from the Real Estate, technology and corporate sectors, is helping the company to grow in its current locations and to open new markets.
During this same year, we were awarded in the II edition of the Startup La Razón Awards with the Best Proptech company in the management and commercialization of rental housing.
At the beginning of 2024, the efforts and economic investment bear fruit in terms of international expansion. Lodgerin enters the Dubai market with over a hundred accommodations for students and professionals. Additionally, the company establishes its new headquarters in the United States and opens its first commercial office in Brickell, Miami in the month of September.
What started as a marketplace with digital management services has now evolved into the first platform that simplifies the international mobility process, creating a digital ecosystem for organizations and accommodation owners.
The company's efforts are now focused on opening new cities in the territory and closing new lodgings, with more than 30,000 rental units at present.
