How does the Barcelona Metro work?

The Barcelona Metro network consists of 12 lines covering approximately 170 kilometers and 189 stations. These lines are operated by two main entities:

• Transportes Metropolitanos de Barcelona (TMB): Manages lines L1, L2, L3, L4, L5, L9, L10, and L11.
