Public transport in Madrid Centro

The district boasts several metro stops, including lines such as Line 1 (Menéndez Pelayo), Line 2 (Retiro), and Line 9 (Ibiza, Sainz de Baranda, Conde Casal), as well as numerous bus lines. Additionally, it is home to the Atocha train station, a major transportation hub that connects to the AVE high-speed trains, commuter trains, and metro lines.

Cercanías train: to get around the areas farther from the city center, there is a Cercanías train service. These trains connect the outskirts with the city center and operate from 5am to 00:00.
